I'm Lizzy, I’m an elite Weightlifter and Weightlifting coach.

I’m on a mission to grow a community of strong women.

I’ve tried just about every sport, workout methodology and type of training out there.

My teenage years were spent playing team sports, swimming and competing in trampolining.

As a young adult I tried boot camps, military training, marathons and group fitness classes.

After dabbling in each of these I finally found FREE WEIGHTS!!

My sister and I would be the only girls in the ‘boys’ section of the gym, teaching ourselves how to deadlift, bench and squat. We loved it.


I moved to Australia in 2013 and joined a Crossfit gym. After 6 months of Crossfit it was very apparent to both my coaches and I that I had a special bond with Weightlifting.

I would stick around for hours after the class learning how to Snatch and Clean and Jerk.

I spent every possible moment researching top weightlifters, weightlifting gyms, methodologies and the history of the sport.

I didn’t know how much this was going to CHANGE MY LIFE.


My professional weightlifting journey started with the creation of 168 Weightlifting, the most popular weightlifting gym in Australia.

Within 168 Weightlifting I train up to 400 people per week and have been doing so for the past 5 years.

This experience has given me an incredible insight into the separation of female and male strength training. This includes goals, mindset, nutrition, recovery and appearance.


Generally, we are harder working, faster at recovery, able to handle more volume, and are both more self-conscious and self-determined.

Together we are growing a community of strong, successful females...
